Watch Knowing For Free? A How To Guide

By Matt Wainwright

If a Yahoo search got you to my article, then I'm almost certain that you want more than anything to find out how to download Knowing - If I am correct, then continue reading this, because I have information for you that will help in your search.

The best thing about being on-line is the thousands of sites out there where you can watch this weeks movie releases. You just need to find the site that best suits your needs, and then make sure you have the right information prior to making any decisions.

In the past, the quality of the downloads you could uncover were terrible, normally they were only part films anyway and the picture quality could be so poor that they were virtually impossible to watch.

That all altered faster broadband speeds became freely available. Being able to download movies, on your computer or save them on a disc and watch them at home, was all of a sudden available for everyone with a PC and high-speed connection.

Is it possible to watch or download all the newest films without paying anything? Sure it's possible - do I think it's a good idea? No not really, because many of the free download sites are riddled with viruses, either that or the films themselves come with spyware installed (how else do you think the sites make money?. If you do decide to go this route, be extremely careful!

So, if I don't want to take the risk, there must be another way right? Well, my advice to friends who ask is to start by looking at the movie membership sites that are available, you will pay a small once-only payment of around $40, but for that you will get an unlimited supply of all the latest theatrical releases and a hassle-free environment to download in - and, you can own all that for not much more than a family theater ticket.

So, if you want to download Knowing, and you feel it would be best to do it in a secure, legitimate environment with lots of choice, what factors should you look out for in a paid movie service?

1. Does Their Guarantee Give You Confidence - Take your time to make sure that the download site you are considering is genuine, is to examine their cancellation policy. Legitimate websites will always offer at least a 30 day guarantee, and based on my own previous experiences the best services offer 60 days.

2. Are There Any Limits On The Number Of Downloads? - If the package you've chosen limits the number of movies you can download, each day, seek an alternative. It is pointless having 1000's of TV shows and movies available if you are only allowed to download a limited number each day.

3. How Good Is Their Customer Care Department? - When you part with money to join a movie download site, you should be able to contact someone if something goes wrong or there's any other type of problem. Most providers are pretty good at this now, with the best services being available 24/7.

If you want to search for a a premium package provider, exactly like the one that I use, you can click on any of the links further up the page. Another option you might consider is to use a search engine to search for something along the lines of 'download the latest films' and you will find zillions of websites that will keep you going for a long time - please be extra careful to look at each site closely before you commit.

Downloading and watching DVD quality movies no longer takes the hours, or even the days, that it did until quite recently. A DVD movie is in the region of 500 to 1000mb, which should only take an up to date laptop no more than an hour to fully download.

Every one of the top service providers present you with the choice of either downloading the film to your PC and watching it on your screen, or you can keep it forever on a disk, with the software supplied, and watch it at your leisure.

OK so, firstly you would be best choosing a service that will bill you for a one-off joining fee (and no ongoing fees). This fee protects you from malicious files and gives access to 1000's of movies, TV shows and music tracks as well (often there is a small additional fee for the TV and music add-ons).

Finally, be absolutely sure the service has a money back guarantee, has a great level of customer service in case it's needed, and finally it has an unlimited download policy. Do these things and everything will be fine.

I Love Patrick Swayze Movies

By Charlie Reese

Many Hollywood actors are forever associated with an iconic role and Dirty Dancing is usually discussed with reference to Patrick Swayze movies. The Texan born actor studied classical ballet, an experience that was to help him in his later career. His film debut was in 1979 when he was cast as Ace in Skatetown, USA. He received a lot of attention for his part in the Francis Ford Coppola movie, The Outsiders, in 1983. The movie used an ensemble cast, a few of whom came to be known as The Brat Pack. Swayze's co-stars were Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Matt Dillon and Tom Cruise.

The Outsiders had put Swayze in good company but his big breakthrough came in 1987 when Dirty Dancing was released. This Patrick Swayze movie was more than a box office smash; it became part of popular culture and fans still try to recreate the dance floor moves today. Swayze plays a dance instructor named Johnny Castle and Jennifer Grey plays his love interest. The role won him a nomination for a Golden Globe. The film also displayed his talent as a songwriter. The soundtrack includes She's Like the Wind, which he co-wrote and sang.

Another box office success followed in 1990 with the release of Ghost. This Patrick Swayze movie is a touching supernatural romance and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. He plays Sam Wheat, a highflying bank employee, married to Molly, played by Demi Moore. Whoopie Goldberg adds comic relief in the tearjerker. Swayze turned bad guy in Point Break in which he plays a serial bank robber named Bodhi, who is leader of a criminal surfer gang. Keanu Reeves portrays the cop that has to infiltrate the gang to bring Bodhi to justice.

Director Roland Joffe cast Swayze as Doctor Max Lowe in City of Joy, set in Calcutta. The doctor is disillusioned with life but finds inspiration working in the slums with the poor and severely sick patients. Swayze's co-stars are Om Puri and Pauline Collins. Swayze returned to a bad guy role in the cult movie, Donnie Darko, in which he plays psychologist, Jim Cunningham. The title role is played by Jake Gyllenhal, a disturbed teenager involved in hallucinations and time travel.

Swayze likes to take a variety of parts and is prepared to play unsympathetic characters. A Patrick Swayze movie usually delivers quality and he has expanded his acting skills away from his dancing shoes. He portrays the sleazy owner of a strip club in his upcoming release, titled Powder Blue. Expected to hit the theatres in December, it also features Jessica Biel, Kris Kristofferson, Ray Liotta and Forest Whitaker.

Do You Remember Phantom of the Opera?

By Charlie Reese

I was never a big fan of musical theater growing up. I was pretty cynical, and seeing all of those people singing in harmony about love and adventure completely turned me off. My parents were into some pretty corny musicals, and none of them seemed to satisfy my dark mood.

I had pretty much given up on liking anything in the genre until I started dating a girl who loved musicals. When she heard about my feelings on the subject, she decided that she would change my mind. She took me to the Phantom of the Opera musical.

I had heard a little bit about the Phantom of the Opera, but only a few details. You see, most of the people I knew who liked musicals were in to a much brighter, more poppy sort of production. Don't get me wrong " Phantom of the Opera Music is very catchy, but it is also sort of dark and brooding. It relies heavily on organ and on minor keys. As such, I had simply never been exposed to something like it before. I was certainly in for a treat.

I would have to say that the Phantom of the Opera musical was one of the best things I have ever seen. It single-handedly redeemed a whole genre for me. After that, I decided I would give musicals and opera another chance. I never realized that there were such a possibility for interesting and dark themes in it. It still explored love, but it was a sort of twisted, obsessional love. There was still a very archetypal conflict between good and evil, but you were able to be on the side of evil. In short, it was everything that I usually look for in fiction or cult movies rolled up into a brilliant stage performance.

I also loved the special effects. Having grown up on movies, I had expected to be disappointed by live musical theater, but this certainly wasn't the case. Seeing someone doing a show up on stage like that really moved me profoundly. The bright flashes of light, the loud sounds, the precariously swinging chandelier " all of it created a sense of suspense that I never get when I go to see a movie. I realized that if anything, stage drama is more intense than even the best Hollywood blockbusters. It definitely left me wanting more, something that all good art does.

Top Movie Reviews Online

By Charlie Reese

Movie trailers can be a great way to get a glimpse of upcoming movies, but if you really want to get the whole picture, you have to read some movie reviews. After all, a movie trailer is meant to pander to the audience as much as possible. They want you to come to see the movie, and they are going to do everything in their power to make it look awesome. As a matter of fact, some movie trailers even incorporate scenes that aren't in the actual movie.

Movie reviews, however, are different. A good movie reviewer will balance the good and the bad. They will give you a whole view of the movie, talking about the actors and how they do, the quality of the writing, and the direction. There is no better way to find out about a movie except by going yourself.

Of course, not all movie reviewers offer the same quality. After all, anyone who wants to can write a movie review. As a matter of fact, you have to be careful about which movie reviews you trust. You see, nowadays more and more studios are commissioning their own movie reviews. If you don't really know the person giving the review of movies, there's no way to know whether or not you can trust their opinion. My advice is to find one or two people you can trust and always depend on their reviews. After all, the right movie reviewer will never let you down.

There are some great movie critics out there. Roger Ebert, for example, is known the world over. However, sometimes the best movie reviews are put out by small local critics. There are thousands of people who review movies, and many of them are undiscovered despite possessing a good deal of talent. It doesn't really matter whether a movie review is written in a nationally syndicated newspaper or a free local weekly. The important thing is that you like the people who write for it. That is all you really need.

Some magazines only include very short clips about movies. Other ones like to have a full-page movie reviews. For me, however, the best quality ones are somewhere in between. A writer who tried to be brief while leaving room to adequately express all the details is the best choice. That way, you can really get a feel for what you are going to see without drowning in unnecessary description.

Soap Opera Passion

By Charlie Reese

I have watched soap operas on and off my entire life. I think it started when a babysitter I had when I was about ten would watch Days of Our Lives each day like clockwork. Because all of the other children under her care were very young, they had naps each afternoon.

At my age, this was not something I needed to do. That meant she would treat me to a soda and then allow me to watch the soap with her. I have watched Days on and off through the years, and this led me to watch the Passions soap opera when it debuted nearly a decade ago.

I still watch Days of Our Lives, but I always found the Passions soap opera very interesting and worth watching. Perhaps it was because it had a bit of something that most other soaps did not. On one hand, the supernatural element that was sometimes in the soap was cheesy, but it was interesting at the same time. It added something to some of the storylines that you just dont see on other soaps. The actors on the Passions soap opera were good, with a few exceptions, and many of them were believable as the parts they were playing.

It came as a huge surprise when the soap opera Passions was taken off of the air. NBC decided to take the show out of its time slot in order to make the Today Show longer. There are even rumors that Days may some day be taken off the air as well. All is not lost for the Passions soap opera fans however, as you can still see the serial and it is still in production. The only problem with this is that you can only see it on DirecTV. It was still online for a time, and you could buy whatever episodes you wanted to see, but I am not sure if you can do that any longer.

Whatever the case, you can have the Passions soap opera in your life if you want. For me, switching to DirecTV from my current cable company was not an option that I wanted to pursue. However, those who must see it still have that option. There may come a time when Passions will be available otherwise, or it may not have much longer to go on. If you want to keep up, but you dont want to have a new television company, you can look around online for Passions updates on many of the soap opera fan sites out there.

Advertising should be funny

By Aleksa Vierbaum

Numerous of the most memorable advertising campaigns around tend to be funny. Advertisers use this strategy to attract clients to their product. Audiences like to be amused, but not pitched. People will pay more care to a humorous commercial than an actual or serious one, opening themselves up to be charmed. The key to funny advertisement is assuring the humor is appropriate to both product and customer. The balance between funny and obnoxious can often be delicate; and a marketer must be certain the positive effects outweigh the negative before an advertisement can be introduced.

The best products to sell using humour tend to be those that consumers have to think the least about. Products that are comparatively inexpensive, and often consumable, can be represented without providing a lot of facts, and thats where theres room for humor. Candy, food, alcohol, tobacco and toys/entertainment related products have proven to benefit the most from humor in their campaigns. One of the most important things to keep in mind is relevance to the product. An example of an highly successful humourous campaign is the series of Yo Quiero Taco Bell commercials. The star, a tiny babbling Chihuahua who is passionate about his Taco Bell got people doubling the companys name across the country. The repetition of the company name and the actual content of the commercial reinforce the message in a relevant manner. Taco Bell saw a substantial rise in sales and their own mascot became a pop icon.

Another point to consider when using humor in advertisement is that different things are funny to different people. A commercial that may leave one person gripping their sides from laughter may leave a bad taste in anothers mouth. The target market must always be considered. Whats funny in a client presentation may not be funny on an airplane, at a country club or in a hospital. An example of a recent humorous product introduction is Mikes Hard Lemonade. These commercials feature over exaggerated and comical violence with the underlining message that no one's day is hard enough to pass up a Mike's. It failed, ranking as one of the years most hated campaigns by both men and woman according to 2002s Ad Track, a consumer survey. The series of commercials are aimed at 21-29 year old males and the repetition of comical violence (such as a construction worker being impaled on the job and a lumberjack cutting off his own foot) gets less and less funny every time its viewed. Eventually the joke just wore out and the commercial became annoying and offensive.

Humor in advertising tends to improve brand recognition, but does not improve product recall, message credibility, or buying intentions. In other words, consumers may be familiar with and have good feelings towards the product, but their purchasing decisions will probably not be affected. One of the major keys to a successful humorous campaign is variety, once a commercial starts to wear out theres no saving it without some variation on the concept. Humorous campaigns are often expensive because they have to be constantly changed. Advertisers must remember that while making the customer laugh, they have to keep things interesting, because old jokes die along with their products.
